2006 Year In Review

01 What did you do in 2006 that you'd never done before?
I only bought 1 new pair of shoes in the entire year. That's an accomplishment.

02 Did you keep your new years' resolutions, and will you make more?
No and yes.

03 Did anyone close to you give birth?
A few coworkers, but that's about it.

04 Did anyone close to you die?
An uncle.

05 What countries did you visit?
None.

06 What would you like to have in 2007 that you lacked in 2006?
Financial stability.

07 What date from 2006 will remain etched upon your memory, and why?
September 19th - Jay's mother's birthday. We "forgot" it this year. That will NEVER happen again.

08 What was your biggest achievement of the year?
Getting through Christmas without any "thin" letters from the bank.

09 What was your biggest failure?

10 Did you suffer illness or injury?
I was really sick in January.

11 What was the best thing you bought?
My gray & lavendar Converse.

14 Where did most of your money go?
Some bitch named Sallie Mae.

15 What did you get really, really, really excited about?

16 What song will always remind you of 2006?
That fucking annoying one that says "woohoo" billions of times. I think it's Black Horse & the Cherry Tree. Yeah. That song makes me want to hurt people.

Exercise.

Procrastinating.

20 How will you be spending Christmas?
Jay and I spent Christmas Eve and Christmas Day with his family in Toledo then spent the day after Christmas through Dec.29th with my family at my sister's place in Olney, IL.

22 Did you fall in love in 2006?
Continually.

23 How many one-night stands?
NONE!

24 What was your favorite TV program?
The Office.

25 Do you hate anyone now that you didn't hate this time last year?
Hate is such a strong word.

26 What was the best book you read?
I didn't really tackle very many books this year and the ones I did read weren't really good enough to be considered "best".

27 What was your greatest musical discovery?
OK Go?

31 What did you do on your birthday, and how old were you?
I turned 32. On my actual birthday, Jay made a fancy dinner and we stayed in. On the weekend of my birthday, my parents came into town and took us to Grande Finale.

32 What one thing would have made your year immeasurably more satisfying?

Always - Sale Rack.

34 What kept you sane?
Jay.

Ewan McGregor.

Smoking ban(s).

My grandparents. All of them.

Cindie.

Never ever give the finger in Cincinnati traffic.
