This month marks our fourth summer living in this house and tonight is the first time we’ve made use of the brick fire pit. There’s really no excuse. This is too tranquil and hypnotic to have put it off for so long. But instead of kicking ourselves over it, we’ll probably just break out the marshmallows and chocolate. What’s the campfire equivalent of “cheers?” S’mores? S’mores to you all, then!
